1. LATEST NEW VILLAS AT GREAT PRICES
At the beginning of this month we took another trip over to Costa
Blanca to have a look around some of the new properties our
partners have available. We were pleasantly surprised at the
quality and prices of some of the new villas just a few miles
inland at Los Montesinos, Lo Crispin and El Raso. We can still
get a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom quad villa for under £107,000 and
detached villas for under £125,000.

LOS MONTESINOS is
an expanding Spanish town just 10km from the
sea. It is within easy reach of a number of golf courses, around
half an hour away from Alicante airport and has some great views
over the pink salt lake.

is a new development on the outskirts of Quesada

2. SPANISH MORTGAGES ARE GETTING EVEN BETTER
Spanish mortgages have improved a lot over the last few years,
even since we bought our villa in 2001. Now it is much easier to
get up to an 80% mortgage where as a few years ago the maximum for
non residents was only 50%-60%. Where as interest rates in the UK
have started to rise and are currently around 6% the Spanish rates
are still falling and it is now possible to get a mortgage on your
holiday home for less than 3% This means that your repayments on
a Spanish mortgage would be around half of the repayments you
would make on the same UK mortgage. So if you bought a property
for £100,000 you would only need a deposit of £20,000 and over
25 years your repayments would be as low as £379.37.
