1. IS SPANISH PROPERTY A GOOD INVESTMENT?
Property is always a good investment, over the past 30 years UK
property has out performed equities by around 500% and is set to
increase by nearly 200% by 2020. Spain has seen even more of an
increase in certain areas. The main growth areas are Costa Blanca
and Costa Calida, where some properties have increased by 40-100%
over the past 2 years.
It is not uncommon for investors to buy a property off plan with
a deposit of 20-50% and then sell the property on completion
and make a healthy 20-40% profit with 18 months to 2 years.
What other investment can offer this sort of return? The stock
market has plummeted, (the FTSE 100 has dropped from 7000 to 4000
in the last 2 years) and now pension schemes seem to have a bad
name. Not only is Spanish property a great investment but it is
